About the Opportunity

The Packaging Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring 100% on-time delivery of packaging material at the destination where it is needed, developing replenishment and stocking plans for short- and long-term needs for fresh berries across Mexico. The spend is approximately $100M annually.

Responsibilities

• Weekly meeting with Fruit Master Planners // Tracks Forecast Changes and aligns Replenishment Plans, but daily follow up.
• Weekly meetings with External Buyers // Align operation to Driscoll´s Priorities & Daily Review with WH and DC Managers with daily follow ups.
• Supports Latam Packaging Planner with Process Improvement Initiatives (DSA Chile & Perú) and supports supply from Mexico when needed. // Understand difference between business models and country specific Challenges.
• Weekly Meetings with Clam and Label Suppliers (Mx) but daily communication regarding production.
• Production Control and Production Tracking (Mx)/Capacity analysis to make production plans/changes
• Communication and Project Management
• Provide Guidance and Tracks Procurement Analyst Daily activities in order to drive results.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert to support WH Managers and External Buyers in day to day activities.
• Works Cross Functionally within Driscoll´s (Distribution team, PBM, Master planning, Quality, New product development, Accounting, etc)  and with our suppliers to improve Data integrity & alignment.

 

Candidate Profile

• Level of studies required: Bachelors Degree
• Areas of study: Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations
• Professional experience needed: 3- 5 years experience
• Areas of experience: Engineering, Business, Agribusiness, Science, Finance, Accounting
• English Language: Advanced
• Experience Managing People
• Microsoft Excel: Advanced
• Project Management: Intermediate
• MRP & Planning Tools: Expert
• Decision making
