About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for a dynamic role in a thriving organization? Driscoll's, a global leader in fresh berries, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming invoices and contribute to the smooth execution of our accounts payable processes across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices accurately and promptly.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices, adhering to payment terms and cash flow guidelines.
• Prepare the weekly payment run in line with company standards.
• Follow up on disputed supplier invoices with relevant teams.
• Monitor and ensure invoices are approved according to the established hierarchy.
• Review and follow up on unapproved invoices monthly.
• Calculate and book monthly accruals for unapproved invoices and expected costs.
• Participate in the quarterly account reconciliation process for assigned accounts.
• Archive processed invoices systematically.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by management within your qualifications and expertise.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• MBO level education, preferably in Finance.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in a commercial environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in Dutch and English (written and verbal).
• Strong skills in Excel and Access.
• Pragmatic with the ability to multitask and deliver under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• A team player with effective communication abilities.
