Description
Muddled berries and lemon juice mixed with bright green melon flavored Midori makes an alluring sparkling wine cocktail. Prosecco is a dry white Italian sparkling wine frequently used as a substitute for Champagne. Use the back of a wooden spoon to crush the berries if you don't have a muddler.
- 1/4 Cup Driscoll's Blackberries, Raspberries or Sliced Strawberries, plus more for garnish
- 1 Oz. (2 tablespoons) fresh lemon juice
- 1 Oz. (2 tablespoons) simple syrup
- 1 1/2 Ounces (3 tablespoons) Midori liquor
- 1 1/2 Ounces (3 tablespoons) Prosecco
- Ice
- 2-3 Driscoll’s Berries for garnish

CHILL a wine glass in freezer until needed.

PLACE 1/4 cup blackberries, raspberries, or sliced strawberries into a cocktail shaker.

ADD 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh lemon juice.

ADD 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) simple syrup.

MASH gently with a muddler or with the back of a large spoon.

ADD 1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) Midori liquor.

FILL cocktail shaker with ice and SECURE lid tightly.

SHAKE vigorously until cocktail shaker is frosty.

POUR cocktail into prepared wine glass.

TOP with 1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) Prosecco and STIR gently.

GARNISH with a few berries.

SERVE immediately.
