Description
Add a touch of port wine to this simple raspberry syrup recipe for an intense flavor punch. Serve with crepes or drizzle over a slice of angel food cake. It will thicken when chilled so rewarm as necessary for serving.
- 3 Packages (6 ounces or 1 1/3 cups each) Driscoll's Raspberries
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3/4 Cup water
- 1/4 Cup Port
-
Bring raspberries, sugar, water and port to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 30 minutes or until thickened and raspberries are very soft. Strain and let cool.
