What is The Dot?
The Dot is a mobile and web-based resource for Driscoll's employees. It is another way for users to receive company information, access company resources and systems, engage with shared content, provide feedback, and overall be better connected to your Driscoll's colleagues. Using The Dot app is voluntary and not required to perform job duties. 

Who should use The Dot?
From the field, to the cooler, to the office, The Dot is Driscoll's platform to stay connected and informed.

How can I access The Dot?
You can access The Dot app on an Apple or Android mobile device using the FirstUp app (our outside vendor who hosts The DOT app platform for us). Or you can access The Dot on your computer’s web browser.

Can I use The Dot during work hours?
Depends. Make sure you are familiar with company policies and safety protocols regarding use of mobile devices at work. If you can’t use a cell phone on the job, you can’t access The Dot app on the job. But if your duties allow for it, and it does not interfere with your job duties, you’re encouraged to spend some time each day catching up and/or exploring. We created The Dot because we want you to feel connected. We want you to use it!

Will I get compensated for the time or data I use while on The Dot?
No, there is no stipend or compensation for using it. The Dot app’s data usage is minimal, and a desktop version of the application is available.

Can I post content on The Dot?
We want you to engage with The Dot community, and part of that is being able to interact with content with likes and comments. As The Dot grows, we will add more features and ways to interact with content including sharing content of your own.

User-submitted content is subject to the company's usage policies in our Terms of use and review by program administrators before being posted.

Will downloading The Dot app give Driscoll's access to information and data on my phone?
No, Driscoll's will NOT have access to other data on your phone outside of the app. Please see Driscoll’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for information about how the company accesses and uses information from The Dot app.

Do I have to enable push notifications?
No, you do not have to enable push notifications.

What is FirstUp?
FirstUp is our outside vendor who hosts The Dot app platform for us.

What do I need to know about the Terms of use, Privacy and Cookie policies for using The Dot?

  • - Use of The Dot app is voluntary.
  • - The Dot app may contain content, links or apps that are managed by third parties that Driscoll’s does not control. Please see Driscoll’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for information about third party content, links and/or apps.
  • - Please be respectful of your coworkers while engaging on the platform. Engaging in any prohibited activities including harassing, threatening, intimidating, or discriminatory conduct or making maliciously false statements on The Dot app is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
